Silk Road Kharanaq is a traditional guesthouse located in the pittoresque, ancient village of Kharanaq. It is located between two deserts, surrounded by mountains, at one hour drive from Yazd on the highway to Tabas and Mashad. Its base is a pre-islamic citadel, located right at the opposite of the guesthouse. Local village people still farm the lands in a traditional way and make use of a fascinating canal system.
