Yazd has a rich tradition in celebrations and religious events. In Iran it is known as the city of worship because of its multi-religious history with an active Zoroastrian community, islamic gatherings and many jewish synagoges. Each of them practicing its own rituals and celebrations. In the Silk Road we also celebrate X-mas and New Years eve for our western guests.
